3 quality CBD oils you can afford.

Want to try CBD oil, but think it’s too expensive? We have three high quality CBD oils that are ideal and low cost. Some think CBD oil is expensive for the size of the bottle. This is why it’s vital to ensure you have lab-tested oil. At Broadies Supplements, we take care of that side of things so you don’t have to worry.

After experiencing the effects of a good CBD oil at the right strength, it’s unlikely you’ll question the size of the bottle again! Contact us directly to discuss different strengths.

If you’re new to buying CBD oil, trying a bottle with a lower amount of CBD might be priority. The lower the milligrams of CBD, the lower the cost!

Our three cheapest CBD drops are:

  1. The 20ml bottle of Nature’s oil at £14.99
  2. The 30ml bottle of Solace oil at £17.99
  3. The 10ml bottle of Canabidol oil at £19.99

Nature’s Oil £14.99

This CBD oil was created in the USA and has 100% natural ingredients. There is 150mg of CBD in this 20ml bottle. One serving is half a pipette including 4mg of CBD. With 40 servings in this bottle and taking 2-3 servings a day, it would last around 2 weeks. It works out 9 pence per mg of CBD. The blend also includes MCT oil, to encourage CBD absorption into the blood. Ideal if you prefer natural ingredients.

Solace Oil £17.99

The perfectly named, Solace Oil, has a distinctly citrusy taste and is a blend of essential and MCT oils, and terpenes from the cannabis plant, to promote the activation and absorption of CBD in the body. The bottle includes 250mg of CBD in a 30ml bottle. One serving (half a pipette), like the Nature’s Oil above, includes 4mg of CBD (remember, this bottle has more CBD in, but the bottle is also bigger). This includes 60 servings and if you take it 2-3 times a day, it would last about 3 weeks. It works out 7 pence per mg of CBD.

Canabidol Oil £19.99

This successful UK CBD brand was founded in 2015 and is now sold in Europe and the USA. There is 250mg of CBD in a 10 ml bottle, which means one serving (half a pipette) would give you 12.5mg of CBD. There are 20 servings in this bottle, so if you took it 2-3 times a day it would last just over a week. It works out 8 pence per mg of CBD. You will get more CBD in each serving compared to the other two bottles because the bottle is smaller. Amazing if you’re starting out and want a higher dose while on a low budget.

Spot the difference between CBD oil and Hemp oil.

New regulations by the Food Standards Agency

The FSA has recently announced that all CBD companies are to submit valid food applications by the 31st March 2021 for consumable CBD products. Great news! It will ensure products on the market are safe and are what they say they are. CBD suppliers will need to list ingredients on packaging. This will result in higher quality products.

At Broadies Supplements, we only buy from the most reputable suppliers and stock products with certified lab reports. This means that if a bottle says it has 100mg of CBD in, it has 100mg of CBD in it.

At the moment, because the CBD industry isn’t regulated, many products have misleading packaging and many outlets are selling hemp oil as CBD oil.

What is the difference between CBD oil and Hemp oil?

Put simply, hemp oil is made from the seeds of the hemp plant and can be used as a carrier oil (mix it with essential oils for massage), a cooking oil (at low heat), for salad dressings or use it to moisturise the skin. It is high in omega 3 and 6 and is anti-oxidant.  There is no CBD in hemp oil. It costs around £6 for 500 ml from your local supermarket.

CBD stands for Cannabidiol, a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.[1] Thus genuine CBD products are made using this chemical taken from the plant. The oil comes in different strengths, usually 100mg-8000mg (this is CBD per bottle) in a 10-50ml bottle and can cost anything from £20 upwards. For information on CBD, please click here.

March’s product of the month

Canabidol use full plant extraction so all of their products are rich in cannabinoids, terpenes, amino acids, vitamins, flavonoids and omega 3, 6 and 9 as well as other fatty acids. “These components work synergistically”.[2] Buy online with us for a 10% discount.

Broadies Supplements, Your Local CBD Shop

Broadies Supplements is celebrating five months of being up and running. We thought it was about time to start a blog for our customers and local community!

As an update, our recent successes include a radio spot on Somer Valley fm, selling CBD oil products from the kiosk at Cheddar market and also, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be featured in Men’s Health Magazine with a two page spread this coming May.

Who are we and what is Broadies Supplements?

A high street and online shop selling CBD oil products owned by Robert and Esther. Our store at the bottom of Midsomer Norton high-street (opposite the tattoo parlour) is a comfortable spot, adorned with the odd psychedelic wall-hanging, where you can grab a coffee (with or without a drop of CBD oil) and question Robert all about CBD oil products. If you can beat him at a game of FIFA, you’ll enjoy a 10% discount in-store. Broadies Supplements is regulated by the Cannabis Trades Association UK and our suppliers are also regulated to ensure the best quality products.

What is CBD?

CBD is the acronym for cannabidiol, a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.[1] It does not make you high and it is not addictive. Hence why it’s legal in the UK. People often confuse the many and varied chemicals in the cannabis plant.

February product of the month

Our first product of the month is the Aches & Pains Balm. A 50ml pot with 1000mg of CBD oil costs £29.99.  We’d recommend applying topically to the skin two or three times a day (first trial a test patch on a small amount of skin). The ingredients also include coconut oil (for vitamin E), beeswax (for vitamin A), camphor oil and lemon and eucalyptus essential oils, which are well renowned for nourishing the skin due to their antimicrobial and antioxidant.

All our products have a 10% discount if bought online.
