Broadies Supplements is celebrating five months of being up and running. We thought it was about time to start a blog for our customers and local community!
As an update, our recent successes include a radio spot on Somer Valley fm, selling CBD oil products from the kiosk at Cheddar market and also, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be featured in Men’s Health Magazine with a two page spread this coming May.
Who are we and what is Broadies Supplements?
A high street and online shop selling CBD oil products owned by Robert and Esther. Our store at the bottom of Midsomer Norton high-street (opposite the tattoo parlour) is a comfortable spot, adorned with the odd psychedelic wall-hanging, where you can grab a coffee (with or without a drop of CBD oil) and question Robert all about CBD oil products. If you can beat him at a game of FIFA, you’ll enjoy a 10% discount in-store. Broadies Supplements is regulated by the Cannabis Trades Association UK and our suppliers are also regulated to ensure the best quality products.
What is CBD?
CBD is the acronym for cannabidiol, a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.[1] It does not make you high and it is not addictive. Hence why it’s legal in the UK. People often confuse the many and varied chemicals in the cannabis plant.
February product of the month
Our first product of the month is the Aches & Pains Balm. A 50ml pot with 1000mg of CBD oil costs £29.99. We’d recommend applying topically to the skin two or three times a day (first trial a test patch on a small amount of skin). The ingredients also include coconut oil (for vitamin E), beeswax (for vitamin A), camphor oil and lemon and eucalyptus essential oils, which are well renowned for nourishing the skin due to their antimicrobial and antioxidant.
All our products have a 10% discount if bought online.
Any questions about CBD products?
This blog
over coming posts will explore the ins-and-outs of CBD. Feel free to contact us
with questions and we’ll blog or email a response.
